Reaserch Modern Software Engineering

I needed to create a practical application of the T10T design, and in November 2023 I added the S-Web 6 VC 🚀 design as the S-Web.org homepage 2023 - !Important — Blaze S-Web 4.0 > 5.2 (php/MySQL) suggested I need to research Modern Software Engineering which led me to your book.

Design 1. T2. The Quanta Analytica

The accounting system tracks sales and presents simple accounting to the user. It includes a stock inventory system for suppliers. And an API to GDS & other online reseller programs.

1. It Pays supplier whenever S-Web makes a sale, with a percentage given to resellers

2. Typically, S-World keeps 12.5% of the reseller’s income and 12.5% of the seller’s income if direct not via API to GDS or other.

3. The Quanta Analytica banks 25% of S-World’s rake and distributes it to software engineers and content providers

Design 2. T2. TBS-CC OKRs

In 2017 I completed the design for the Total Business Systems - Company Controller (TBS-CC) and a spreadsheet to track developers. In 2019 John Doerr’s book, Measure What Matters combined with behavioural science and The Hawthorne Effect to created The T2. TBS-CC OKRs.

1. Gaming characteristics were added 💥 scored 25 🔥 scored 50 and the ℏ🚀 scored 100 points. See the Version Update Doc, and Videos and other docs.
2. A second spreadsheet tab called the Q-Planner was added for recording all significant scores per week, perfect for collaboration and review.
3. The 🎯 ‘On Target’ emoji for 35 points was added for doing a boring priority task. This tricked me into doing work for the points value. | Next

4. In Q3 2024 I extended the 🎯 emoji logic to DevOps by awarding 90 points for testing 🧪 and 80 for Information Hiding 🙈, and OKR DevOps was born and now considers how to entangle David Farley’s MSE chapters, Nicole Forsgren’s SPACE framework, with DORA metrics, IDEs and SDLC Phases.
